Also known as 'phytos,' these certificates are used for plants or plant products that are either unprocessed or are in their raw plant form, or have been minimally processed, and by their nature or that of their processing may create a risk for the introduction and spread of pests.

These certificates are based on an inspection of the plants or plant products before they are shipped. The inspection is good for 30 days.

One certificate is required per shipment and cannot be duplicated. Certificates expire after 14 days from the date of issue. The cost for each certificate is $56.

Examples of plants or plant products that can be certified using this certificate include but are not limited to green lumber, kiln dried lumber, logs, nursery stock, cut Christmas trees, grain, fruits, seeds or bulbs.
