Restricted-Use Dealer

​Retail dealers or distributors of restricted-use pesticides must have a restricted use pesticide dealer license. Restricted-use pesticides can be applied only by a licensed applicator. Every location that sells these products needs a separate license.

Are you a newly certified applicator starting your own business? Please apply for your Restricted Use Dealer license by​ paper or online through MyDATCP. 

The license is valid January 1-December 31. And the fee is $60 + ACCP Surcharge. Please refer to the information below.​​

ACCP Surcharge = $20.00

Your license fee will be $80.00.
 
The ACCP surcharge amount is determined on May 1 each year. For more information about the ACCP fund and surcharges,​ visit DATCP's ACCP Fund and Surcharges webpage. To learn how ACCP funds are used, visit DATCP's Agricultural ​Chemical Cleanup Program webpage.

​Licensees must also complete a pesticide dealer/distributor reporting form annually. The reporting period is October 1-September 30. Restricted-use pesticide dealers can submit sales/distribution data by emailing an Excel file to datcprupdealerreporting@wi.gov. Instructions for submitting your report are available under the resources section of this page. Your report is due October 30 each year.​
