2018 Retail Fueling Facility Compliance Training for Owners and Operators

The Bureau of Weights and Measures is once again conducting retail fueling facility compliance training at no cost to owners and operators. These sessions will provide owners and operators with an opportunity to obtain training directly from Weights and Measures staff on trending compliance issues.

This year's training topics are:

  • Inventory reconciliation requirements and common mistakes
  • 2020 secondary containment upgrade requirements
  • New testing requirements for secondary containment
  • Credit card skimmers

Pre-registration is required for these training sessions. Please note attendance at this training is optional. This training is not A/B Operator training.

Continuing Education Credit Requirements for Storage Tank Certifications

Wisconsin Administrative Code SPS 305 requires AST Installers, UST Installers, and Tank System Inspectors to obtain 12 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) within the 2 year certification period in order to renew their certification. Certified individuals that do not obtain the required CECs must retake the exam in order to renew.

An approved course may provide continuing education credits for more than one SPS 305 credential that an individual holds.

Continuing Education Credit Providers

If you would like to become a CEC Provider, or need to renew a course approval, please complete the continuing education course application and return it to DATCPWeightsandMeasures@wisconsin.gov.

CEC Providers are required to submit course rosters within 10 days of the completion of the course using the required continuing education course roster.
