From
May 28 to 29, 2025, the State of Wisconsin had the honor of hosting the
Binational Summit and Meeting of the Dairy Industries of Mexico and the
United States. DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski provided welcoming remarks to the
group, and leaders from both countries spent the next two days discussing the
importance of cross-border collaboration, increasing consumer trust, and
renewed commitment to infrastructure development and animal wellbeing.

In 2024,
Mexico imported $80 million of dairy products from Wisconsin, an increase
of 54% compared to 2023. In the first quarter of 2025, Mexico has imported
$17.7 million of dairy products from Wisconsin, an increase of 59%
year-to-date compared to 2024. We look forward to continuing to build a mutually beneficial and
lasting trade relationship with our partners in Mexico.
