Success at International Dairy Week in Australia

International Dairy Week (IDW) is the largest annual dairy conference and sale in the Southern Hemisphere and is internationally recognized as among the top five cattle shows in the world. During the week of January 20-24, 2025, staff from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) attended IDW in Tatura Park, Victoria, Australia, where over 1,200 head of dairy cattle were exhibited. Events held in addition to the dairy show included farm visits, a 35th anniversary dinner, STgenetics sale, and a trade show where Wisconsin-affiliated companies US Livestock Genetics Export (USLGE), ABS Global, World Wide Sires, URUS, and STgenetics exhibited.
