Consumer's Guide to Organic Food

Presented on this page are the Consumer's Guide to Organic Food as well as a wide variety of marketing materials for organic farmers and businesses. These materials were developed through a collaborative project by the Wisconsin Organic Advisory Council, WI DATCP, Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES), the Madison Area Community Supported Agriculture Coalition, and University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension with financial support from the USDA Specialty Crops Block Grant Program.

Wisconsin consumers spend tens of millions of dollars annually on local and directly marketed foods, and increasing demand for locally grown organic foods presents an opportunity for Wisconsin organic farmers. These marketing materials will help organic producers differentiate their product in the marketplace and allow interested consumers to find local organic produce more readily.
