Nomination Period Opens April 1 for Wisconsin Cranberry Board

MADISON, Wis. – Starting April 1, 2025, The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is accepting nominations for three seats on the Wisconsin Cranberry Board. Producers who grow and sell cranberries in Wisconsin are eligible to nominate themselves or other producers.

Any producer can request nomination forms prior to May 30, 2025, by contacting DATCP Market Orders staff at DATCPMarketOrders@wisconsin.gov. Completed forms must be signed and postmarked by May 30, 2025, and include the signatures of five eligible cranberry growers other than the nominee. Completed forms must be mailed to DATCP Market Orders Program, P.O. Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708-8911.

DATCP will conduct the Wisconsin Cranberry Board election from July 10 through August 15, 2025. Elected growers will serve three-year terms beginning September 1, 2025.

About the Wisconsin Cranberry Board
The Wisconsin Cranberry Board is composed of seven producers from across the state. The board oversees the collection and use of approximately $546,000 in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin cranberry growers. This funding supports the cranberry industry through research, education, and the promotion of Wisconsin-grown cranberries.
