LAKE GENEVA – Today at the Wisconsin Land + Water annual conference, DATCP Secretary-designee Brad Pfaff highlighted the successful partnerships between the agriculture community and conservation advocates.

“I recognize that our county conservation staff are the boots on the ground, and I thank them for their work they do,” said Pfaff. “DATCP has a strong history of partnering with conservation advocates and local and county governments, and with the support provided in Governor Evers’ budget, I look forward to working with them in the future.”

Matt Krueger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Land + Water, joined Pfaff in commending counties and local conservation advocates on their work. Krueger stated, “Everyone needs water, and everyone has a responsibility to keep our environment healthy. We’re excited to continue our work with our partners at the state, county, and local levels to make sure future generations can enjoy our natural resources for years to come.”
