Farmer Wellness Video 

Text: A farm is only as healthy as its farmer. The Wisconsin Farm Center wants to make sure farmers have access to help. The Farm Center offers three main programs for mental health: a 24/7 farmer wellness helpline, counseling vouchers that provide financial assistance to connect with participating licensed providers, and tele-counseling so that farmers can connect online for help and guidance from the comfort of their own home.

Text: We all go through times when we feel down or blue. How do you know when you should ask for help? Whether you are a dairy farmer, livestock producer, or produce farmer, you and your family may experience business challenges that can cause anxiety, stress, and depression. Licensed Clinical Social Worker Jessica Beauchamp discusses the signs and symptoms of ​depression and where to find information on depression with Farm Center’s Karen Endres. They discuss some useful online resources and how you may also be experiencing physical symptoms.
