Staff from DATCP’s International Agribusiness Center (IABC) attended the U.S. Identity Preserved International Summit event from March 22-24, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. While there, they interacted with Wisconsin suppliers and international buyers of food grade soybeans. This is a rapidly growing industry due to international demand for higher quality nutrition, often sought in the form of soybeans. Soybeans offer an excellent source of oil for cooking, and protein used in the production of granola bars, natto, tempeh, cheonggukjang, thua nao, soy beverages, and many more. Wisconsin is happy to be a source of all types of protein to the world.
