Students conducted farm-based soil analysis, studied nutrient cycling, and used microscopes to examine soil microbiology. They procured and prepared nearly 150 pounds of locally raised beef for community meals, reaching over 250 participants. The project built lasting partnerships with local farmers and experts. Grant funds supported the purchase of microscopes, lab supplies, and kitchen equipment to sustain future programming. New initiatives launched through the project include an annual fifth grade farm-to-school lunch and plans to incorporate Indigenous food education.
