In June, IABC staff traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia, to participate in the 2026 U.S. – Indonesia Dairy Partnership (USIDP) Summit, hosted by the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC). The summit brought together government, industry, university, and dairy leaders to support Indonesia’s growing dairy sector and to strengthen the U.S. and Indonesia’s collaboration. With a population of more than 280 million, Indonesia is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest growing dairy markets. As the country expands dairy production to improve nutrition and food security, new opportunities are emerging for Wisconsin’s dairy expertise, from livestock genetics and feed to dairy products.
