On October 14, 2026, International Agribusiness Center (IABC) staff met with members of the Wisconsin Distillers Guild and discussed how their members can grow sales by exporting. The spirits sector is growing across the globe, with current U.S. exports up 36%. As the middle class continues to grow around the world, there is an increasing demand for mixed drink products. Wisconsin’s spirits export growth has a positive economic impact on the state, as it creates jobs and offers a diversified way to sell Wisconsin’s corn, wheat, rye, or other grain crops through value-added techniques. DATCP looks forward to continuing to support these businesses and find new markets for them around the world.
