On October 13, 2026, International Agribusiness Center (IABC) staff hosted a feed mill delegation from Thailand led by U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council and Wisconsin Corn Growers Association. Dr. Harkirat Kaur from UW–Madison (UW) College of Agricultural & Life Sciences presented to the group on UW's current research on sustainably grown corn. Anthony Goodeman from the USDA Marketing & Regulatory Programs – Agricultural Marketing Service talked about the U.S. grading and weighing systems.
After the visit to the DATCP office, the group visited several corn farms, a Dried Distillers Grain facility, and Port Milwaukee. We look forward to continuing to work with the Thai feed industry and will be following up with them in March of 2027 when Wisconsin exhibits at the VIV Asia trade show in Bangkok, Thailand.
