Eleven companies from Food Export Midwest and Northeast participated in a focused trade mission to Guatemala City, Guatemala from March 7-9, 2024! Included in that group were six Wisconsin companies, including La Crosse Distilling, Hollander Chocolate, Masters Gallery Foods, Tropical Foods, Grande Cheese, and Old Fashioned Cheese.
Staff from DATCP's International Agribusiness Center served as activity coordinator for this mission, which included an in-market briefing from the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, a buyer reception, retail store tours, and one-to-one meetings with buyers and distributors in an effort to increase trade opportunities in the region.
