From March 4-6, 2024, 13 companies from Food Export Midwest and Northeast participated in a focused trade mission to San Jose, Costa Rica! Included in that group were six companies from Wisconsin, including Hollander Chocolate, Agropur, Masters Gallery Foods, Tropical Foods, Grande Cheese, and Old Fashioned Cheese.
Staff from DATCP's International Agribusiness Center served as activity coordinator for this mission, which included an in-market briefing from the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, an import regulation seminar, a buyer reception, retail store tours, company site visits, and one-to-one meetings with buyers and distributors in an effort to increase trade opportunities in the region.
