In late January and early February 2024, staff from DATCP’s International Agribusiness Center led a cheese promotion trade mission to Bangkok, Thailand. The purpose of the mission was to help Wisconsin agribusinesses form business connections in Thailand.
The mission kicked off with representatives from participating Wisconsin agribusinesses learning about the Thai market, meeting with importers in Bangkok, and visiting a variety of Thai businesses.

A Wisconsin cheese workshop was also held during the mission, with five Wisconsin businesses and organizations participating and over 90 food importers, retailers, hoteliers, restauranteurs, and social media influencers attending.
