On November 12, 2019, Governor
Tony Evers issued Executive
Order #59. This order affirmed the importance of equity and inclusion in Wisconsin
state government, and directed all state agencies to develop an equity and inclusion
action plan.
The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is committed to maintaining and following its Equity and Inclusion Plan, which will guide the agency from January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026. The document outlines a detailed work plan in the areas of recruitment, retention,
and agency culture.
