The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection registers telephone solicitors for participation in the Wisconsin No-Call List Program. The registration year begins December 1 and ends November 30. DATCP must receive registration forms by December 1 in order for a solicitor to register and receive the No Call List sent to registrants prior to January 1. Subsequent Wisconsin No-Call Lists will be available prior to April 1, July 1 and October 1.

Under Wis. Stats., §100.52, Telephone Solicitations, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection creates a “no call” list of consumers who do not wish to receive telemarketing calls. It also registers telemarketers who make telephone solicitations, and, on a regular basis, updates the No-Call List and distributes it to registered telemarketers. DATCP adopted rules to implement the telemarketing No-Call List Program. The effective date for this rule (Wis. Admin. Code Ch. ATCP 127, subchapter V) was December 1, 2002.
