General Information

The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is responsible for enforcing the dating service law, Wis. Stat. § 100.175. This law includes proof of financial responsibility and contract requirements. A packet of information outlining these requirements is available by calling (608) 224-4996.

Walk-ins are also welcome at the Consumer Protection office located on the first floor of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection office building at 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison WI 53718-6777. Office hours are weekdays, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
