Lime Materials License

An annual license is required for any person or business that sells or distributes liming materials in Wisconsin.

The license fee is $10.00 and expires on December 31 each year. All lime license holders are also required to complete a tonnage report and pay tonnage fees ($0.0125) on all liming materials (or the equivalent amount of marl and paper mill refuse) sold in Wisconsin during the preceding calendar year.

If you choose to sell agricultural lime by volume instead of by weight, you must complete this application. Because you or your business is selling agricultural lime in Wisconsin, an annual liming materials license is also required along with a tonnage report and payment of tonnage fees.
