VTMs are meters mounted on a vehicle used commercially to measure gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil, diesel fuel, or alternate fuels. Effective January 2011, any person operating a VTM must be licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. The annual license fee per meter is $60, and the license period is November 1st – October 31st. The fee is not prorated for partial years, and licenses are not transferable between operators or meters.
