Commercial swine moving within Wisconsin for weigh-ins must have the following:

• If the pigs are moving to the weigh-in from a seller’s herd, the pigs can move based on the seller’s herd test results as required below:

• Testing for Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDv) is required as follows:

• If Negative tests of herd of origin* within 90 days prior to movement, pigs can move to weigh-ins without further restrictions.  Documentation of the negative test results must be made available upon request.

• If Positive tests for either PRRS or PEDv of herd of origin* within 90 days prior to movement, the herd will be quarantined until a herd plan is established and approved.  Swine may be able to move to the weigh-in in accordance with the herd plan.

• If the pigs are moving to the weigh-in from the exhibitor’s herd, the pigs can move based on the exhibitor’s herd test results as required below:
