Commercial swine moving within Wisconsin to any market where any swine at the market may be sold for purposes other than slaughter require the following:

• Testing for Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDv) is required as follows:

• Negative tests of herd of origin* within 90 days prior to movement – no restrictions on movement.  Documentation of the negative test results must be made available upon request.
  

• Positive tests for either PRRS or PEDv of herd of origin* within 90 days prior to movement - the herd will be quarantined until a herd plan is established and approved.  Movement can take place in accordance with the herd plan.
  

• If no test for either PRRS or PEDv has been done within 90 days prior to movement, the animals are not allowed to move except to slaughter, to a market at which all swine on the premises on the day of the sale are going directly to slaughter, or terminal fairs/exhibitions/shows.
  

• No CVI is required.
