Note: DATCP will host the next ACCC quarterly meeting on December 10, 2024.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) manages the Agricultural Chemical Cleanup Program (ACCP), which:
- Helps clean up pesticide and fertilizer spills to prevent them from contaminating groundwater.
- Reimburses eligible cleanup costs.
The program works with the person or business responsible for the spill (the "responsible person"). Often the responsible person hires an environmental consultant to manage the cleanup, and DATCP staff work with the consultant to monitor the cleanup.
