Nourish Farms expanded its farm to school programming in Sheboygan County, engaging approximately 2,000 students monthly across 17 schools, with over 2,500 students served in May alone. Grant funds supported 102 classroom field trips in a single month, repaired and expanded school gardens in three districts, and enabled construction of a new 2,160 sq. ft. hoop house built in collaboration with local high school students. The hoop house is now used for hands-on food education, garden-based field trips, and community food access initiatives. Nourish also increased equitable access by subsidizing transportation for low-income schools and engaging over a dozen local farmers and food producers. Demand for programming now exceeds capacity, and partnerships with schools and community organizations continue to grow.
