Wisconsin dairy took center stage at Fine Food Australia 2025, held September 8-11 in Sydney, Australia. The Wisconsin Cheese Pavilion - a joint effort between DATCP and Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) - featured Agropur, AMPI, Masters Gallery, Sartori, and Schreiber Foods, giving buyers from across the region a direct taste of Wisconsin’s world-class dairy. Several other Wisconsin cheese companies also contributed product samples, even though they could not attend in person, further showcasing the depth and variety of the state’s industry while gauging market opportunities.

According to U. S. Dairy Export Council, U.S. cheese shipments to Oceania rose about 21% in early 2025 compared to the previous year, highlighting the region’s strong growth potential. Fine Food Australia was the ideal venue to capture this momentum, serving as both Australia’s leading food industry showcase and a gateway to fast-growing Asian markets.

The Wisconsin Cheese Pavilion also gained visibility through a local TV interview and news report, raising awareness among Australian consumers. In addition, USDA Foreign Agriculture Service Australia and DFW cohosted a Wisconsin cheese reception, creating valuable networking opportunities and strengthening trade relationships. Together, these efforts ensured that Wisconsin cheese not only stood out at Fine Food Australia but also cemented its reputation as a leader in global dairy excellence.
