Planting Green Webinar Track
Watch the June 8, 2021 webinar and planting green video. The webinar covers agronomic and management considerations in planting corn into rye as well as planting corn into alfalfa. We look at cover crop planting dates and seeding rates, herbicide programs, nitrogen management, and more.
November 9, 2021 (register online): We will look at corn at harvest, rutting compared to non-planted green fields, yields and cover crops after harvest.
Rotational Grazing Webinar Track
Watch the July 13, 2021 webinar and rotational grazing video. The webinar focuses on when to move cattle to new paddocks during the spring flush versus the “summer slump,” managing weeds at different times of the year, as well as cattle nutrition considerations in grass-based systems in spring versus mid-summer.
October 12, 2021 (register online): Learn about planning for winter feeding strategies, setting up bale grazing for out-wintering and late season grazing of warm-season/cool-season cover crop mixes.
