Colombia - Agro Expo 2017

Midwest Buyers Mission

When: August 2, 2017
Where: Madison, Wisconsin

DATCP and Food Export Association of the Midwest will be coordinating the Midwest Buyers Mission for retail and foodservice products. Fifteen to 20 foreign buyers, four Food Export In-Market representatives from Europe, Vietnam and Brazil, including Dennis Lynch, the Food Export Helpline Counsel, will be in Madison. Companies will meet with pre-qualified buyers from around the world in pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings. Focused Trade Mission: Hong Kong for Retail and Foodservice Products

When: August 17-20, 2017
Where: Hong Kong

U.S. exports of agricultural products totaled US$3.5 billion in 2015. U.S. exports of consumer-oriented food products to Hong Kong declined 13 percent to US$3.3 billion or nearly 93% of the agricultural total. Despite the decline in value, Hong Kong remains the 4th largest consumer food export market. Hong Kong is also the 10th largest export market from the U.S. for processed foods.

Mexico - CIGAL 2017

The CIGAL-2017 Conference (Conferencia Internacional Sobre Ganado Lechero) is Mexico’s national dairy conference. Uruguay - Expo Prado 2017

When: September 6-14, 2017
Where: Montevideo, Uruguay

DATCP's International Agribusiness Center will participate in the 112th Exposición Internacional de Ganadería y Muestra Internacional Agro Industrial y Comercial (International Livestock and Agriculture and Agro-Industrial Trade Show). The event, held in the Urugayan capital city of Montevideo, attracts more than 450,000 visitors over nine days and is the major event of its kind held in the country.

Focused Trade Mission: Mexico for Food Ingredients

When: September 25-29, 2017
Where: Mexico City, Mexico

Overall, Mexico’s top trade partner is by far the U.S., which imports 80.2% of all Mexican exports and provides Mexico with 48.8% of its total imports. Similarly, Mexico has become one of the largest and fastest growing markets for U.S. agricultural products. U.S. exports of agricultural products to Mexico dropped 9% to nearly US$17.7 billion in 2015, ranking it 3rd in the world after Canada and China. Also in 2015, U.S. exports of consumer-ready food products represented 47.3% of the agricultural total, or nearly US$8.4 billion, a decrease of 10% from 2014. Mexico remains the 2nd largest export market for consumer ready products.

Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission at 2017 World Dairy Expo

When: October 2-5, 2017

DATCP and Food Export Association of the Midwest will be conducting a Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission in conjunction with the World Dairy Expo. The strong economic growth in international markets has been supporting an ongoing development of the feed ingredient sector. The demand for feed supplements and additives continues to rise. Companies will meet with pre-qualified buyers from around the world in pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings right here in the U.S., generate new sales leads, and build relationships with key industry players. Argentina - Mercolactea 2017
