Our project goal was to create a video that would remind applicators of their critical role in protecting our environment and themselves as they apply pesticides. The video offers short informational segments on topics relevant to pesticide applicators including worker protection, spill response, water quality, endangered species and most importantly, reading the label. The segments provide information in a non-technical manner so that all viewers including non-applicators, will learn more about the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the importance of protecting the environment and human health. The video is available for viewing at the department, at the pesticide certification and licensing examination room, 2nd floor, 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison, Wisconsin. Otherwise, you can download segments below. The total time for all segments, including the introduction is approximately 10 minutes.
