Farm Transfers

Through its Farm Link program, the Wisconsin Farm Center can help farmers who want to start their own operation, retiring farmers who want someone to take over their operation, farmers who want to relocate due to urban or environmental pressures, or farmers who want to expand their current businesses. Goal setting and planning with others can help you make the best decision for your individual circumstances.

There are no easy solutions to the difficult questions you will face during this process. The Farm Center can work with you to assess your present situation, set goals, develop a plan, gather the necessary information, and provide support throughout the entire transfer process.

Farm Link
The Farm Center's Farm Link program can help you identify available transfer options, find the farmer who best matches your specific operation, and develop a linkage plan to ensure a smooth transfer. The staff works to bring together farmers with compatible goals and needs.
