We work with the beekeeping industry to check for honeybee pests and diseases. We certify colonies leaving the state and check incoming colonies.

Varroa Mite Control

Mite Away Quick Strips (MAQS™) are now registered as a pesticide in Wisconsin. The product, from NOD Apiary Products, Ontario, Canada, was registered in March 2011. http://miteaway.com/ The product is also registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency. This notice should not be taken as an endorsement or product promotion but as a notice to Wisconsin beekeepers that another Varroa mite control product is now available for use in Wisconsin.
