Notification Forms and Instructions for Agricultural Impact Statements

Agricultural impact statements analyze the potential impact of public construction projects on farmland and farm operations and recommend ways to lessen those impacts. When a project initiator has the authority to acquire farmland through condemnation, or eminent domain, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection should be notified. Town roads and power lines that carry 100 kilovolts or less are not subject to the AIS requirements.
