Legal and Accounting Services

• Accountants. The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) and the Accounting Examining Board regulate accountants. See Wisconsin Statutes chapter 442 and Wisconsin Administrative Code chapters Accy 1,3, 4, 5, 7 and 8. 
  
  
• Attorneys. The Wisconsin Supreme Court licenses and supervises attorneys, and has adopted rules of attorney conduct. The Supreme Court has established an Office of Lawyer Regulation to investigate rule violations. See Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules (including SCR 11, 12, 13, 20, 21 and 22) published in the Wisconsin Statutes.
