Contractor Financial Responsiblity

Contractors applying for building permits must hold a certificate of financial responsibility from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS). Contractors must be bonded or insured to protect homeowners against property damage or dwelling code violations caused by the contractor.
