Food Laboratories
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer protection (DATCP) certifies laboratories (and analysts) that test milk, food and drinking water for compliance with public health standards. Laboratory certification helps ensure that public health lab tests are accurate.
Laboratories must comply with standards under Wisconsin Administrative Code chapter ATCP 77. DATCP may suspend certifications for cause. See Wisconsin Statutes section 93.06.
