Food Certificate of Free Sale

The Division of Food Safety issues notarized Certificates of Free Sale to enable Wisconsin food processing firms to export their food products to other countries. To obtain a Certificate of Free Sale, a firm must be licensed by the Division of Food Safety and be in compliance with current regulations.

Regular or Special Service:

We offer two services and fees for certificates:

1. Regular Service - Will be processed within 3 business days and sent out using 1st class mail only. The fee for each set of certificates using Regular Service is $65.00

2. Special Service - Requests will be processed within 1 business day and sent out using Fed Ex, DHL or UPS. You must provide an Account Number below. The fee for each set of certificates using Special Service is $100.00

Any request using a delivery service other than 1st Class Mail or requiring 1 business day service is considered Special Service. Requests will be invoiced separately.
