Grain Security

Under the authority of Chapter 126, Wisconsin Statutes, and Chapter ATCP 99, Wisconsin Administrative Code, Trade Practices regulates grain dealers and warehouse keepers. The regulations are intended to help protect grain producers from non-payment for grain received by grain dealers and grain in storage.

Grain Dealers
Entities that buy producer grain or who market producer grain as a producer agent.

Grain Warehouse Keepers
Entities that operate grain warehouses that receive, store, condition or ship grain for others.
