2014 Clean Sweep Collections:

Agricultural and Household Hazardous Waste

Important!  Be sure to check the website for each collection to verify dates, times, locations, acceptable materials and other important information, such as preregistration requirements and fees. Note that some collections are county-wide and some are held by individual communities. Some of these may accept waste from neighboring communities. Again, check their websites.

Businesses that generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste a month or that accumulate no more than 2,205 pounds of hazardous waste should contact their local Clean Sweep coordinators to see if their waste will be accepted at these collections. These businesses pay the full cost of disposal, except for agricultural pesticides, which pay half the fee. The price may be less than hiring a hazardous waste hauler yourself.
